Promoting gender inclusion in the steel industry is one of Feralpi Group’s projects and is also included in the ESG Scorecard. Among the initiatives that continued during 2025 is MakeTheDiffHERence, the first edition of the Technical Graduate Programme dedicated to onboarding eight female engineer colleagues. The training programme lasts twenty months and provides participants with in-depth cross-functional training across all technical and production areas at primary steelmaking plants, as well as involvement in the Group’s new investment projects.

Alongside MakeTheDiffHERence, the Steel Women project continues within the Group, which for years has enabled the inclusion of female blue-collar personnel in technical and production areas.

This initiative, together with the many activities focused on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), enabled Feralpi Siderurgica to obtain UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification for its Gender Equality Management System.
