In 2024, Feralpi enhanced its circular industrial model, focusing on material recovery and waste reuse within production cycles. A total of 91% of waste is reintroduced into the processes, ensuring steel products have at least 98% recycled content. One of the key initiatives is the ongoing project to recover steel mill slag for the production of aggregates used in construction. White slag, mill scale, dust, fumes, and heat are also directed towards recovery efforts.
